Braving the sleety weather, about 25 children and their parents turned up today (11 February 2017) for a Valentine’s Day themed craft day. Organised by the Friends of Wanstead Parklands, with the help of the City of London, the event was held at Wanstead Park’s historic Temple.
Friends committee member Gill James said: “The children made lots of lovely things on the topic of hearts and enjoyed stories too”.
Other activities included a treasure hunt and word-search. Copies of the treasure hunt sheet (and prizes!) and word-searches were left at The Temple which is open tomorrow (10:00am - 2:00pm) so pop in if you missed it today!
