Big turn out for litter pick

The March litter pick held on Sunday 8th attracted 30 socially-distanced volunteers.

Armed with the latest in litter-picking technology the thirty braved the east wind and scoured the park for the unsightly and the out-of-place.

Their enthusiasm for our park also expressed itself in the purchase of several knitted ducks, four copies of The Angel and the Cad and several kind donations.

The next litter pick will be on Easter Sunday, 4th April.

Well done, everyone!

  1. whilst the litter pick is worthwhile, I came across small scale fly tipping, many glass bottles indicating alcohol consumption, should be recycled, also far too many people discarding dog waste bags, a health hazard to people and wildlife. also discarded, plastic food containers
please name this as what it is, low level anti social behaviour tell the relevant authorities and do not brush the problem under the carpet as it were.
