When lockdown began I started walking every day in the park, listening to the birds. That was when I tried to try and begin to learn to identify birdsong.
On the 2nd May I set my alarm for 3:45 am, thinking to myself “I must be insane!”
Well I did get up and walked into the park just after 4 am to be greeted by a cacophony of sound. I walked round the Ornamental Water trying to identify the different sounds but really just enjoying being there.
As I walked toward the Temple the colours intensified and just took my breath away.
