THE LAST DANCE?
July 16th 2016 will be the last Music in Wanstead Park. After seventeen years it is time for a change…so come along and enjoy one of East London’s only community-based large outdoor events for the last time.
We start an hour earlier at 1pm -just in time for lunch.
You could help make the last Music in Wanstead Park the best one by helping our team of volunteers, eg on the Main Gate or running craft workshops. Friends of Wanstead Parklands will be hosting a stall. New ideas for activities or stalls are always welcome.
The event begins with a bang with the London School of Samba Procession and ends with lively dance band Grooveability. Excellent refreshments will be on sale. Or bring your own picnic- but remember this is a glass-free event!
Tons of excitement : Spider Mountain, Crazy Bikes, Rollapaluza static bike racing, live snakes and ferrets, Mr Alexander’s astounding Travelling Show, Kinovan vintage London film etc etc….
2016 ticket prices : a day’s fun for £5 for children and £10 for adults ; free for under 4’s
