L&LHS 2023 Diary Dates

January 18th – L&LHS member Les Capon will give his annual archaeology lecture.
February 15th – Ross MacFarlane of the Welcome Collection will speak about the Medical Officer of Health reports for Leyton, with emphasis on the 1918 flu’ pandemic.
March 15th – London tourist guide Elanor Bloom will speak on ‘Legendary Woman of East London’.
April 19th – Local historian Gary Lewis speak on ‘Famous people in the City of London Cemetery’.
May 17th after our AGM – Andrew Cole, Mark Gorman and Peter Wilson of the Wanstead Park Working Group will speak on ‘Unruly and Predatory Cattle, The Cows of Wanstead Flats.

All L&LHS lectures take place at 7.45 p.m. on the 3rd Wednesday of each month from June to May except and December. Entry £2 FREE to L&LHS members and members of affiliated organisations
