Refreshment Kiosk
Situated near the Wanstead Park Avenue/Northumberland Avenue entrance to the Park, the Refreshment Kiosk provides hot and cold drinks as well as home made sandwiches, cakes and other snacks.

Dog walkers
Wanstead Park is a popular site for dog walking. The Park offers an extensive network of footpaths and open spaces for both man and dog to enjoy the area’s natural beauty.
Walking
Wanstead Park is a great place for walking - its terrain caters for those looking for a casual stroll, to those after a more adventurous walk. The Park has an extensive network of footpaths and there is around 140 acres of parkland to explore.

Golf
Wanstead Golf Club is situated on the site where Wanstead House once stood. The Private Members Golf Club was established in 1893 and has 18 holes for players to work their way around.

Fishing
Wanstead Park is one of only ten sites in London where fishing is free for members of the public. Bream, Carp, Perch, Pike, Roach and Tench can be fished from the banks of the Ornamental Water and the Perch Pond. Keep nets and night fishing are prohibited, and only mono filament line is allowed. There is a close season from March to June

Horse Riding
Horse riding is not allowed in Wanstead Park proper, but Aldersbrook Riding School is situated adjacent to the park and offers adults and children the opportunity to get on the saddle. Riders can often be found enjoying the open spaces on nearby Wanstead Flats.

Tennis
Situated at the top of Wanstead Flats is Aldersbrook Lawn Tennis Club. The Club has six courts, a club house, and offers coaching for all members.
