About the Project

The Wanstead Parklands Community Project was formed to look at, research and promote Wanstead Park and the historic parklands that comprise the grand estate of Wanstead House. Some of the aspects of the parklands that we are looking at are:

• History
• Archaeology
• Natural History
• Past usage
• Present usage
• The people who use and live in the Park

Who are we?

We are a group with a common interest in the area around Wanstead Park, but with different individual interests and expertise. These include:
